Resilience

We have been at the forefront of research on resilience, meaning, spirituality and perceived growth in survivorship. Understanding the direct and indirect effects of these important concepts on the health and wellbeing of the growing population of diverse cancer survivors is critical to their care and quality of life. Our lab is currently working on a five-year NIH funded 5-year longitudinal study (UG3/UH3 CA220642-01) examining bio-psychosocial mechanisms and outcomes of resilience trajectories in adults with cancer.
