Undergraduate Students

Rose Karvandi

Rose is an undergraduate research assistant majoring in Physiology & Neurobiology on a pre-health track, planning to graduate in 2023. She is currently assisting on the NIH cancer survivorship study. Her personal research interests include physiological impacts of stress and trauma especially within women’s health. Rose aspires to have a career related to family medicine or internal medicine.

 



Sascha Siegel

Sascha is a Human Development and Family Sciences major with a minor in Sociology. She is expected to graduate in 2023. Sascha wanted to join the lab because she is passionate about helping people. Her research interests include behavior of survivors and how this impacts them mentally and physically. After UConn, Sascha plans to attend graduate school and become a children’s therapist.

 


 


Carolyn Wolf

Carolyn is a Human Development and Family Sciences major with a Psychology minor at UConn. She is expected to graduate in 2023. Her research interests include different topics of health psychology such as understanding, preventing, and recovering from illnesses, positive health behaviors, stress reduction, the benefits of nutrition and exercise, and child development. After graduation, Carolyn looks forward to exploring different avenues in her fields of interest.
